Nebistar 5mg Tablet is prescribed for:

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Chronic Heart Failure (mild to moderate, as part of combination therapy)

Mechanism of Action

Nebivolol is a highly selective Beta-1 Blocker with added vasodilating effect.

Slows heart rate & reduces cardiac workload → lowers BP.

Stimulates nitric oxide (NO) release in blood vessels → improves vasodilation & circulation.

Provides effective BP control with fewer side effects (like cold hands/feet or fatigue) compared to older beta-blockers.
Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: 5 mg once daily.
