📌 Description

Norflox 200 Tablet contains Norfloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication and repair. It is commonly prescribed for mild to moderate bacterial infections of the urinary tract, gastrointestinal system, and genital tract.

✅ Indications / Uses

Norflox 200 is used for the treatment of:

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Gastrointestinal infections (diarrhoea, dysentery, traveler’s diarrhoea)

• Prostatitis (prostate gland infection)

• Gonorrhea and certain other STIs

• Other norfloxacin-sensitive bacterial infections

⚠️ Not effective against viral infections such as cold or flu.

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Usual adult dose: 200–400 mg twice daily, as prescribed by the physician.

• Take on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals) with a glass of water.

• Avoid milk and dairy products, as they reduce absorption.

• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early.
