📌 Description
Norflox-TZ RF Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of Norfloxacin and Tinidazole, used mainly for gastrointestinal and genitourinary infections. Norfloxacin fights bacterial infections by inhibiting DNA replication, while Tinidazole kills protozoa and anaerobic bacteria. The RF (Ready Film-Coated) formulation provides improved patient compliance and better gastrointestinal tolerance.

Acute diarrhoea & dysentery (including traveler’s diarrhoea)

Gastrointestinal infections due to bacteria & protozoa

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Gynecological infections (bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis)

Mixed bacterial and protozoal infections
⚠️ Not effective against viral infections.
💊 Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: One tablet twice daily (morning and evening), or as prescribed.

Best taken after food with a glass of water.

Avoid alcohol during therapy and up to 72 hours after stopping (due to tinidazole).

Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early.
