📌 Description
Norflox-TZ Tablet is a combination of Norfloxacin and Tinidazole. Norfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria, while Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal/antibacterial agent that kills protozoa and anaerobic bacteria. Together, they are highly effective in treating gastrointestinal and genitourinary infections caused by mixed bacterial and protozoal organisms.

Norflox-TZ is prescribed for the treatment of:

Acute diarrhoea & dysentery (including traveler’s diarrhoea)

Gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria and protozoa

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Gynecological infections (bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis)

Other mixed bacterial-protozoal infections as advised by the physician
⚠️ Not effective against viral infections.
💊 Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: One tablet twice daily (morning & evening), or as directed by the physician.

Take with water, preferably after food to reduce stomach upset.

Complete the full course, even if symptoms improve early.

Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or nervous system disorders.

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless prescribed.

May interact with antacids, iron, zinc supplements, blood thinners, and theophylline.
