Uses / Indications

Nurokind-G Tablet is prescribed for:

• Neuropathic pain (diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, sciatica)

• Peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes, alcohol, drugs, or injury)

• Chronic nerve pain, tingling, numbness & burning sensations

• Adjunct therapy in seizures/epilepsy (Gabapentin use)

• Vitamin B12 deficiency-related nerve problems

Mechanism of Action

• Gabapentin: Anticonvulsant that stabilizes overactive nerve signals → reduces neuropathic pain & seizures

• Methylcobalamin (B12): Supports nerve regeneration, myelin sheath repair & RBC production

• Combined Effect: Relieves nerve pain, improves nerve health, and supports recovery in chronic neuropathies

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily (dose may be gradually increased by physician)

• Should be taken after meals with water

• Dosage must be individualized based on severity of neuropathy or seizures

Side Effects

• Common: dizziness, sleepiness, fatigue, unsteadiness

• GI effects: nausea, vomiting, stomach upset

• Rare: mood changes, blurred vision, swelling of hands/feet

Precautions

• Caution in patients with kidney impairment (dose adjustment required)
