Composition

• Pantoprazole 40 mg

Description

Pantocid 40 mg Tablet, manufactured by Sun Pharma, contains Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat GERD, severe acidity, heartburn, and peptic ulcers. It reduces excess stomach acid and helps heal acid-related damage in the stomach and esophagus. It is stronger than Pantocid 20 mg and is usually prescribed for more severe conditions.

Uses

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

• Severe acidity and heartburn

• Peptic ulcers (stomach & duodenal ulcers)

• Erosive esophagitis (acid-induced inflammation of food pipe)

• Zollinger–Ellison syndrome (excess acid production)

• Prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers

Dosage

Precautions
