Pari CR 50 Tablet is prescribed for the management of:

Mechanism of Action

• Paroxetine (SSRI):

  • Increases serotonin levels in the brain by blocking its reuptake

  • Helps improve mood, reduce anxiety, and control obsessive & panic symptoms

• CR (Controlled Release): Provides steady release of medicine → ensures once-daily dosing with fewer side effects

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: Usually 50 mg once daily, as prescribed by psychiatrist

• Take in the morning with food

• Swallow whole – do not crush or chew (maintains controlled release)

• Dose tapering required when stopping (to avoid withdrawal symptoms)

Side Effects

• Common: nausea, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, sweating, constipation, dry mouth
