Uses / Indications

Pari CR 62.5 Tablet is prescribed in moderate to severe psychiatric conditions, including:

  • Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Mechanism of Action

  • Paroxetine (SSRI):

    • Increases serotonin levels in the brain by inhibiting reuptake

    • Improves mood, reduces anxiety, stabilizes obsessive thoughts & panic symptoms

  • CR (Controlled Release): Provides sustained release → maintains stable drug levels, better compliance, fewer side effects


Dosage & Administration

  • Adults: Usually 62.5 mg once daily, as prescribed by psychiatrist

  • Take in the morning with food

  • Swallow whole – do not crush or chew (to maintain controlled release)

  • If discontinuing, taper gradually to avoid withdrawal effects


Side Effects
