Uses / Indications
Rebekind 20 Tablet is prescribed for:

GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) – acid reflux, heartburn

Peptic ulcers (stomach & duodenal ulcers)

Gastritis (stomach lining inflammation)

Dyspepsia (indigestion, bloating, upper abdominal pain)

Zollinger–Ellison syndrome (excess stomach acid production)

Prevention of ulcer recurrence in chronic acid-related disorders
Mechanism of Action

Rabeprazole (PPI):
-
Inhibits H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) in stomach lining

Reduces gastric acid secretion

Promotes healing of ulcers & relieves heartburn and acidity

Dosage & Administration
-
Adults: Usually 1 tablet once daily, 30 minutes before breakfast (as prescribed)

In severe cases, doctor may increase to 40 mg daily

Duration: typically 4–8 weeks for ulcers/GERD, longer for chronic cases

Swallow whole with water – do not crush or chew
