Description

Rosuvas 20 mg Tablet, manufactured by Sun Pharma, contains Rosuvastatin, a statin used for cholesterol management and heart protection. It works by blocking HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver. This reduces LDL (bad cholesterol) & triglycerides and increases HDL (good cholesterol), thereby lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events.

The 20 mg dose is prescribed when lower doses (5 mg or 10 mg) are not sufficient to control cholesterol levels.
