Uses / Indications

Seroflo Inhaler 250 is prescribed for:

1. Asthma (moderate to severe) – long-term prevention & control.

2. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

3. Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

4. Prevents frequent wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathlessness.

How It Works

• Salmeterol → relaxes airway muscles for easier breathing (lasts up to 12 hours).

• Fluticasone → reduces airway inflammation, swelling & irritation.

• Combined → better control of asthma & COPD, preventing flare-ups.

Dosage (General Guide – only as prescribed by doctor)

• Adults & Children (>12 years): 2 puffs twice daily.

• Not for sudden asthma attacks (rescue inhaler needed separately).

How to Use

1. Shake well before use.

2. Exhale fully, place mouthpiece in mouth.

3. Press canister while inhaling deeply.

4. Hold breath for 5–10 seconds, then exhale.

5. Rinse mouth after use to prevent fungal infection (oral thrush).

Side Effects

Common: Throat irritation, cough, hoarseness, oral thrush, headache.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, allergic reaction, severe breathing difficulty.

Precautions & Warnings

• Not for emergency asthma/COPD relief.

• Rinse mouth after every use.

• Use with caution in heart disease, thyroid disorders, diabetes, infections.

• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

• Safe in pregnancy & breastfeeding only if prescribed.

• Store below 30°C, away from heat & direct sunlight.

• Do not puncture or burn even when empty.
