Uses / Indications
Seroflo Inhaler 500 is prescribed for:

Severe persistent asthma – long-term prevention and control.

Moderate to severe COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

Reduces frequency of wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing.
How It Works

Salmeterol → relaxes airway muscles for easier breathing (effective up to 12 hours).

Fluticasone → reduces airway inflammation, swelling, and mucus.
-
Together → improve lung function, prevent flare-ups, and maintain breathing comfort.
Dosage (General Guide – only as prescribed by doctor)

Adults: 2 puffs twice daily.

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Not for sudden asthma/COPD attacks (rescue inhaler needed separately).
How to Use

Shake well before use.

Exhale fully, place inhaler in mouth.

Press canister while inhaling deeply.

Hold breath for 5–10 seconds, then exhale.

Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral thrush.
Side Effects
Common: Throat irritation, cough, hoarseness, oral thrush, headache.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, allergic reaction, severe breathing problems.
