Uses / Indications
Seroflo Rotacaps 125 are prescribed for:

Asthma (moderate severity) – long-term control & prevention.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

Prevents symptoms like wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathlessness.
How It Works

Salmeterol → relaxes airway smooth muscles (effective for up to 12 hours).

Fluticasone → reduces inflammation and swelling of airways.

Together → provide dual action for better asthma/COPD management.
Dosage (General Guide – only as prescribed by doctor)

Adults & Children (>12 years): 1 rotacap twice daily.

Not for sudden asthma attacks (rescue inhaler required separately).

Must be used only with a Rotahaler device.
How to Use (with Rotahaler)

Insert one rotacap into the Rotahaler.

Twist to pierce capsule.
-
Inhale powder deeply through mouthpiece.

Hold breath for a few seconds, then exhale.

Discard empty capsule.
Side Effects
Common: Throat irritation, cough, hoarseness, oral thrush, headache.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, allergic reaction, severe breathing issues.
