Uses / Indications
Seroflo Rotacaps 250 are prescribed for:

Moderate to severe asthma – long-term control & prevention.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Chronic bronchitis & emphysema.

Prevents frequent wheezing, breathlessness, coughing, and chest tightness.
How It Works

Salmeterol → relaxes airway smooth muscles, bronchodilation for up to 12 hours.

Fluticasone → reduces airway inflammation & swelling.
-
Combined → better control of asthma & COPD symptoms.
Dosage (General Guide – only as prescribed by doctor)

Adults & Children (>12 years): 1 rotacap twice daily.

Not for sudden asthma attacks (rescue inhaler required separately).

Must be used only with a Rotahaler device.
How to Use (with Rotahaler)

Insert rotacap into the Rotahaler.

Twist to pierce capsule.
-
Inhale powder deeply through mouthpiece.
-
Hold breath for a few seconds, then exhale.

Discard empty capsule.
Side Effects
Common: Throat irritation, cough, oral thrush, hoarseness, headache.
Serious (rare): Chest pain, irregular heartbeat, severe breathing problems, allergic reaction.

Not for emergency asthma relief.

Rinse mouth after each use to avoid fungal infection.
