Description: Voveran AQ Injection contains Diclofenac Sodium, a fast-acting NSAID used for pain relief, inflammation, and fever reduction. It works by blocking prostaglandins, the chemicals responsible for pain and swelling. It is widely prescribed for short-term management of acute painful conditions.

Uses:

• Acute musculoskeletal pain

• Post-operative pain

• Arthritis and spondylitis pain

• Renal colic & gallbladder pain

• Trauma & sports injury-related pain

• Gynecological pain (dysmenorrhea)

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: 75 mg deep IM injection once daily; in severe cases may repeat after 12 hrs (max 150 mg/day).

• IV infusion: Only under hospital supervision.
  👉 Should be administered strictly under doctor’s guidance; not for long-term use.

Side Effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, injection site pain/swelling, dizziness, headache. Rare: gastric ulcer/bleeding, liver/kidney problems, high BP, allergic reactions.

Precautions:

• Avoid in patients with gastric ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe liver/kidney/heart disease, or NSAID allergy.

• Caution in elderly patients, hypertensive, and those with asthma.

• Not recommended in late pregnancy.

• Avoid alcohol during therapy (increases gastric irritation risk).

Drug Interactions:

• Increased bleeding risk with anticoagulants (warfarin, heparin), antiplatelets (aspirin, clopidogrel).

• Higher stomach risk with steroids (prednisolone, dexamethasone).

• Kidney risk with diuretics, ACE inhibitors, ARBs.

• Avoid combining with other NSAIDs.
