Description
Zifi 100 DT Tablet contains Cefixime, a broad-spectrum 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotic.

It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which leads to bacterial death.

Being a dispersible tablet, it can be dissolved in water, making it convenient for children and patients who cannot swallow tablets.
Uses / Indications

Respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

ENT infections (sinusitis, otitis media)

Urinary tract infections (UTI)

Typhoid fever (Salmonella infections)

Skin & soft tissue infections
Dosage (General Guidance)

Adults & Children (>10 yrs): 200–400 mg/day in 1–2 divided doses

Children (6 months–10 yrs): 8 mg/kg/day (usually via dispersible tablets or syrup form)

Duration: Usually 5–14 days depending on infection
Administration:

Disperse tablet in a teaspoonful of water before administration

Can also be swallowed whole with water

Best taken after meals for better tolerance
