Description
Zifi-CV 400 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combining Cefixime with Clavulanic Acid.

Cefixime destroys bacteria by inhibiting their cell wall synthesis.

Clavulanic Acid neutralizes beta-lactamase enzymes, preventing resistance and enhancing Cefixime’s effectiveness.
This combination is especially useful for moderate to severe resistant infections.
Uses / Indications

Respiratory tract infections (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

ENT infections (sinusitis, otitis media)

Urinary tract infections (UTI)

Typhoid fever (Salmonella infections)

Skin & soft tissue infections

Infections caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria
Dosage (General Guidance)
(As prescribed by physician)

Adults: 1 tablet once daily OR 1 tablet twice daily (depending on infection severity)

Children (>12 yrs): Dose adjusted as per weight; younger children are given suspension forms

Duration: Usually 5–14 days
Route: Oral
Advice: Take after meals for better absorption & to reduce gastric upset
