Description:
Ziten 20 mg Tablet is an oral anti-diabetic medicine used for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It contains Teneligliptin, which belongs to the class of DPP-4 inhibitors (Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 inhibitors).
It helps lower blood sugar levels by increasing the action of incretin hormones, which stimulate insulin release from the pancreas and reduce excess glucose production by the liver. Ziten improves blood sugar control especially after meals and has a low risk of causing hypoglycemia when used alone.
It may be prescribed alone or in combination with other anti-diabetic medicines such as Metformin, Sulfonylureas, or Insulin.
